Outlook new updation provides integration with Office documents for iOS devices
Microsoft updates Outlook and office apps for iOS devices like iPhone and iPad. This new updation allows the user to easily open and edit the documents as per attachments in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. These Microsoft apps are being used in different tasks like trategy documents, sales presentations, contracts, market analyses, to-do lists, travel itineraries, monthly budgets and much more. These informations can later be sent via email using Outlook.
Now the Outlook users can open their documents simply in one of these MS Office apps which they receive as an attachment via email using Outlook. If the particular app haven’t yet downloaded in your device then no need to worries, Outlook will provide you a link of that particular app to download it from the App Store. Once the app is downloaded completely, Outlook will open the file in that particular app. e.g. if the attachments contains an excel sheet then it will be open in MS Excel.
After making changes in the documents you received as an attachment, you can easily send it back. For this, a single tap on the return button closes the documents and returns you back to Outlook. Not only this, the recently updated file will be added automatically in your reply as an attachment.
Another amazing thing is if you are working in MS Word, Excel or PowerPoint on some documents then you can easily attach your those files to a new email with a new ‘Send with Outlook’ option in the Share menu.
Microsoft claims that these features of Outlook will soon be the part of Android devices in next couple of months.
