After 6 years, Pakistan’s cricket isolation comes to an end today

The wait is over… Finally, the nation received a good news about Zimbabwe tour to Pakistan. There will be two T20 & three one day games at Ghaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

After 6 years, Pakistan’s cricket isolation comes to an end today

Few years back, the doors of International cricket remained close because of the occurence of several tragidies, one of which was the terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team when they were heading towards the Ghaddafi Stadium to play the second test match, No test-playing side agreed to tour Pakistan after the incident.

However, due to the efforts of PCB, Zimbabwe will become the first test playing country to play in the terror-hit country in six years. The authorities assured the fool proof security to the guest team.

The game will start at 07:00 pm lacal time (02:00 pm GMT). The spectators have been advised to bring their original NIC and arrived stadium till 06:00 pm sharp, after that no one will be allowed to enter the stadium.

Pakistan (squad): Shahid Afridi (captain), Sarfaraz Ahmed, Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Mukhtar Ahmed, Noman Anwar, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Mohammad Rizwan, Anwar Ali, Hammad Azam, Immad Wasim, Bilawal Bhatti, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Sami.
