Samsung Galaxy S8's leak Confirms the Elimination of Physical Button

Some pics posted on the Chinese social media website Weibo revealed the first look of Samsung Galaxy S8. The pictures confirm the initial rumor about the dismissal of the home button from Samsung’s latest flagship device. Nokia’s First Android Phone Is Coming Soon

Samsung remains one of the last companies to adhere still to a physical navigation button. If this leak is to believe, then Samsung is finally giving way to progress and is moving towards on-screen navigation buttons.

As is evident from the picture above, Samsung will retain the curved screen design for the eighth significant addition to their S-series devices. The Samsung logo has also been moving to the bottom of the front panel.

One thing is still not confirmed in the new design is the fingerprint sensor, which was first housed below the physical home button. It is still unclear where Samsung will place the fingerprint sensor in the device. According to another rumor, Samsung may consolidate Synaptic’s new under glass fingerprint sensor. The probable new location for the sensor, however, remains the back of the device.

This leak also claims that the release date of the brand-new flagship device by Samsung will be 18th April. Reflecting that S4, S5 and S6 all went on sale in the month of April, and this date doesn’t seem too far-fetched.

There is still some time left before we get any official announcement about the device from the Samsung. Until that, we will make sure to keep you updated about any rumors or exposes about the highly anticipated smartphone.
